Our valued State Government client is seeking an AO6 and AO7 Project Manager to join their Cannon Hill team for 3 months, with the possibility of an extension.
This busy role will see you provide client-side building construction/upgrade project management.
As the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Prepares project management plan, evaluates various procurement/delivery methodology, risk and value management, and demonstrates understanding of life-cycle considerations.
* Co-ordinate and manage building Modern Method of Construction projects including predesign, design, documentation, contract administration and post occupancy evaluation activities.
* Co-ordinate and manage project procurement activities for building projects including contractual aspects and agreed parameters of time, cost and quality.
* Liaise with the appropriate client representatives on operational matters to ensure implementation of projects in accordance with client requirements.
* Assist in engaging, liaising with and co-ordinating external consultants and Portfolio staff involved in the provision of pre-design, design, documentation, contract administration and post occupancy evaluation services as members of the project team on individual projects.
* Provide advice to Client Representatives on procurement methodologies and project programming.
* Perform project maintenance in Financial System, including billing, scheduling, and reporting.
* Apply appropriate employment equity and workplace health and safety principles and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Client-side building construction/upgrade projects management experience in comparable organisations.
* Building construction related education.
* Experience preparing tender documents for Design & Construct (non-traditional) and fully documented (traditional) contracts.
* Working experience with Australian Standard for tendering, and non-price criteria in tender evaluations.
* Effective communication and stakeholder management.
* Ability to operate independently and lead project teams comprising of internal and external resources.
In addition, to be considered for the AO7, you will have the ability to operate independently, lead project teams comprising of internal and external resources, and manage competing interests of project team members and stakeholders.
These roles offer $76.50 + Super and $85.31 + Super respectively, an immediate start and an initial 3-month engagement with a possibility of an extension. #J-18808-Ljbffr
