RAAFA is a leading Aged Care provider that aims to provide quality person-centered care and services to all residents who call RAAFA their home.
We have an exciting and rare opportunity for a leader of care to join our organisation as a Residential Care Manager at our Gordon Lodge Residential Aged Care home in Bull Creek.
In this role, you will be required to deliver our person-centered care philosophy, R.E.A.L Care, that aims to deliver a quality of care and a quality of life. We are seeking a passionate person-centered leader who understands how a sustainable business model will deliver positive outcomes for the 60 residents living in our home.

In this role, you will be required to:
* Lead and manage the team of residential care staff to achieve optimum service delivery and ensure quality person-centered services are provided.
* Be accountable for monitoring performance and supporting the site in ensuring staffing occupancy and care funding targets are achieved.
* Reflect the values of the organisation at all times.
* Ensure consistent and high-quality care and services are delivered.
* Work in partnership with the General Manager Residential Care to ensure all aspects of the budget are monitored.
* Maintain relationships and network with external parties to promote RAAFA services and identify opportunities for growth.
* Respond to and ensure complaints are handled in a professional, timely and effective manner.
* Contribute to operational plans that align with RAAFA’s strategic objectives as required.
Who are we looking for?
A significantly experienced leader who has a great record of high performance and people management. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for working within aged care, and a strong commitment to providing quality services to older Australians in residential care.
Selection Criteria:
* Leadership and management experience in the aged care or health industry is essential.
* Hold a current AHPRA registration (preferred).
* Enjoy building positive relationships with residents, their families and staff.
* Possess excellent clinical knowledge and skills.
* A satisfactory Bankruptcy Check is required at the point of employment and three years thereafter.
