What You’ll Do
In this inspiring position located in Villach, Austria you will
1. be involved in all phases of the software development (SW) lifecycle, including the testing, analysis and maintenance of the software system
2. participate in the SW deployment process ensuring qualified Software Products are successfully installed at our customer's facilities
3. perform troubleshooting of system software related issues
4. perform in-house & onsite support of customer install base and resolution of customer issues
5. test, troubleshoot and propagate errors clearly to SW and HW Development Engineers
6. setup and maintain tool simulators, testing environments, lab support to reproduce issues found in field and verify SW solutions
7. understand customer technology & productivity needs and feedback those requirements into software development
8. prepare presentations to Lam internal stakeholders and customers travel worldwide wherever semiconductor customers are located (up to 25%)
Who We’re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
9. Technical education in Soft- and Hardware -minimum HTL /technical high school – electrical engineering, software engineering or similar
10. Excellent Computer, troubleshooting and statistical process control skills
11. Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
12. Good knowledge of operating system principles and basic hardware capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
13. Professional experience would be an asset, but not a requirement
14. Ability to establish successful relationships in a multicultural environment with external and internal customers
15. Structured Working Style (attention to details) High degree of initiative, flexibility, and ability to work in a team

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
