About the Role
Polyaire are in search of a Senior Recruitment Officer to join their team in Adelaide.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage end-to-end recruitment activities and contribute to the development of talent solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving recruitment strategies, supporting hiring managers, and ensuring compliance with best-practice hiring processes. What you'll do:
In this newly created role with Polyaire, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the company by attracting, selecting, and retaining high-quality talent. You will be responsible for developing effective recruitment strategies that align with the needs of the business.
Your excellent communication and relationship building skills will be on show as you engage with schools, universities, and attend employment expos to build proactive talent pipelines.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will also be responsible for:
1. Develop, design and execute strategic recruitment plans that are in line with business needs
2. Lead recruitment drives, including engagement with schools, universities, and attendance at employment expos to build talent pipelines
3. Perform in-depth market analysis to stay ahead of talent trends and competitive hiring practices.
4. Proactively source high quality candidates using diverse channels
5. Draft and post job advertisements across relevant job boards, company careers pages, and social media platforms
6. Coordinate and conduct interviews in collaboration with hiring managers to identify top talent.
7. Prepare and deliver employment offers and contracts, ensuring compliance with company standards.
8. Oversee the migration process for international hires by collaborating closely with migration agents.
9. Champion employer branding efforts to attract and retain high-calibre talent.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Recruitment Officer position will possess a wealth of experience in senior recruitment roles, with a deep understanding of recruitment strategies, ideally within a similar industry.
Additionally, the successful candidate will bring:
1. Demonstrated expertise in a senior recruitment capacity, preferably in-house within a comparable sector.
2. A strong understanding of recruitment strategies, innovative sourcing techniques, and talent pipeline development.
3. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
4. Solid knowledge of employment laws and best practices in hiring.
5. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
6. The agility to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
7. Meticulous attention to detail and outstanding organisational skills.
