We are looking for a skilled and proactive professional to join our EMEA Logistics team and drive the efficiency of our global trade operations. In this role, you’ll ensure strict adherence to customs regulations and international trade laws, while streamlining processes to reduce costs and improve performance. You’ll manage risk, oversee external audits, and lead training initiatives, all while helping to shape regional strategies that support our company’s global objectives. Your Key Responsibilities
* Ensure adherence to all relevant customs regulations and international trade laws, including tariff classifications, import/export documentation, and trade agreements.
* Streamline customs and trade processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.
* Identify and address potential risks in customs and trade operations, including compliance issues, delays, and financial penalties.
* Develop and execute strategies to enhance the region’s trade capabilities and support the company’s global trade objectives.
* Maintain appropriate security and safety standards (AEO, CTPAT).
* Coordinate external customs audits.
* Execute regional customs trainings.

You bring
* University or higher level of education in International Trade, Logistics, or Supply Chain or has developed a strong experience in these areas.
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience within Customs, Trade & Logistics operations within the EMEA region.
* Experience in (quick) solutions of complex (Customs) processes/procedures (IM/EX/T).
* Experience working within an International Organization.
* Strongly self-motivated; solves business problems and works well with limited supervision.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
