As a result of increased demand, they are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Support Engineer to join their team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in providing top-tier technical support and customer service while resolving issues up to a Level 2 capacity.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for providing onsite and offsite support to resolve complex issues promptly, including on-call coverage. Ensuring timely request resolution, managing client expectations, and following up for satisfaction. You will also analyse environments to recommend solutions that reduce risk and improve efficiency. Other duties include maintaining detailed system documentation and change control processes while collaborating with and mentoring junior technicians for effective teamwork.
The technologies that you will be supporting include:
* Office 365 (including SharePoint / OneDrive) migrations, administration and support.
* Windows Server (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, IIS, RDS, etc.)
* Microsoft Exchange Server upgrades, administration, and support.
* Microsoft Azure (Active Directory, App Service, Intune, SendGrid, Virtual machines)
* Backup management (Veeam, Shadow Protect, Commvault, Backup Exec etc.)
* Automation through scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
* Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware ESXi)
