The Impact You'll Make
As a Product Manager at Lam, you play a crucial role in defining the strategy, roadmap, and features of the product. You are both strategic and tactical. You will span the entire product life cycle, from definition and planning to production release, upgrades, and end-of-life. Your leadership skills will be vital in ensuring cross-functional collaboration across different departments to drive the success of the portfolio of products. With your expertise in both business and technical domains, you'll bring the product vision to life for Lam and our customers.
Aufgaben
* Manage product change and execute strategies for released products
* Define requirements for new features based on market information
* Interact with account teams and all product group departments to communicate priorities
* Validate costs and develop product and feature pricing
* Manage product costs to product group targets
* Decide and budget field implementation strategies for new features/upgrades
* Maintain released product documentation such as product specifications
* Maintain POA (Product object architecture)
* Initiate and create Product Change Notifications and Technical Memos
* Manage small sized technical projects (development of new features) including:
* Lead cross-functional teams through all aspects of Lam's Product Development and Release process
* Drive the team with an overarching focus on managing risk
* Plan and coordinate activities across company organizations
* Show overall ownership and accountability for the project timelines and results
Profil
* Bachelor's degree in a technical field of study: engineering, chemistry, physics or electrical engineering
* 3 to 5 years relevant work experience with a good technical understanding
* Experience working in a cross functional environment
* Excellent presentation skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
* Good problem solving skills
* Ability to work on multiple different topics in parallel
* Well-structured and self-organized work habits

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group E or F depending on educational background. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week.
