Your future responsibilities
Join our team in Linz and take the lead on exciting R&D projects in the fields of Electronics and Sustainability. As a Project Manager, you will:
* Take full responsibility for projects by continuously monitoring progress and ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
* Organize work, align resources, and coordinate the project team as well as external partners and suppliers.
* Define and monitor project KPIs and goals together with project owners and department managers.
* Provide regular project status reports to internal stakeholders and external customers and partners.
* Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Manage consortia of up to 10 partners working on national and international research projects.
* Maintain an overview of technical interdependencies and coordinate multiple workstreams within each project.
* Oversee financial planning and control in line with the business objectives of the unit.
* Manage the research unit’s project portfolio and support resource planning and control.
* Actively participate in project acquisition and help identify future research topics.
Your profile
* Ein Masterabschluss in Elektronik, Physik, Elektrotechnik, Mechatronik oder einem verwandten Bereich.
* Ein zusätzliches Bachelorstudium in Betriebswirtschaft, Management, Rechtswissenschaften oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet ist von Vorteil.
* Eine proaktive Arbeitsweise sowie ausgeprägte Moderationsfähigkeiten.
* Die Fähigkeit, komplexe Projektsituationen schnell zu erfassen und Verbesserungsvorschläge zu unterbreiten.
* Starke Präsentations- und Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, um mit Stakeholdern auf allen Ebenen zu interagieren.
* Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in Non-University Research (Research CA), starting with occupational group D. We offer a competitive salary and additional benefits commensurate with your experience and qualifications. For this position, your minimum monthly salary starts at EUR 3,141 (full-time basis for 38.5 hours per week), paid 14 times a year.
