Ascent Footwear is a growing footwear manufacturer and distributor. We are looking for a new Area Manager for QLD (based in Brisbane).
Reporting to the National Sales Manager your job will be to work with our retailers to promote Ascent in schools, workplaces, and with medical practitioners.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Building, maintaining and developing relationships with new and existing accounts
* Organising and implementing a range of sales promotion programs and/or events
* Demonstrating excellence in customer management and developing productive call cycles in your territory
* Teaching, training and presenting to various accounts as well as within the school and health professional community
* Organising and attending a variety of conferences and events
Minimum Requirements:
* Public speaking ability
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
* Knowledge of retail and/or wholesale sales principles, methods, and techniques
* Excellent time management and self-motivation
* General computer skills and good knowledge of MS Office (email, Excel, Word, presentation software)
* Good driving record
* Must hold a Government working with children card, or be able to obtain one once employed
