With innovation being the key to their success, their product portfolio includes post-operative products, intimate apparel & swimwear, medical garments, prostheses, and textiles with special medical functions.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for managing and directing the operations in Australia, New Zealand & Philippines to ensure business objectives are achieved and market share is increased. This includes policies & procedures, marketing & distribution, sales, human resources, and all activities related to the operation and growth of the business.
About the role:
* Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of budgets, reports and financial forecasts
* Ensure all operational activities comply with relevant Acts, legal requirements and ethical standards
* Determine and implement the sales & marketing objectives to optimise sales turnover
* Analyse market trends and adapt the sales & marketing policies and objectives accordingly
* Monitor, manage and deliver improvement of policies and processes
* Staff recruitment, performance management, training and mentoring
* Build strong and enduring relationships with major suppliers, customers, industry associations and government bodies
* Determine product mix and control pricing structure
* Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing & advertising campaigns
* Manage and direct distributors in New Zealand & Philippines
About you:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in the Medical Device or Healthcare sectors
* Adaptable with the ability to manage change and implement new products into different markets
* Proven sales/account management experience in local and international markets
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise, influence and negotiate confidently at all levels
* Well-developed organisational and time management skills with the demonstrated experience to manage projects and deliver positive outcomes
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to lead by example and provide clear expectations
* Tertiary qualifications relevant to the content of the role
* High degree of computer literacy
