Our client, responsible for the digitization of the public sector in Austria, is looking for experts for his development department where you will be part of a qualified team of developers that sustainably improves and digitizes the Austrian administration. You will actively develop applications in the federal environment in order to positively influence and facilitate the lives of millions of people.
Your tasks
1. New and further development of Java web applications and services
2. Contact person for internal and external colleagues
3. Maintenance and refactoring of existing applications
4. Implementation of development-side quality assurance, testing and documentation
5. Collaboration and design within the entire software development process
You bring with you
6. First relevant professional experience (at least 2 years) in agile software development
7. Independent and analytical way of working as well as willingness to learn and commitment
8. Initial experience with the frameworks and tools in use.
9. Java frameworks (Spring and ideally Spring Boot, Hibernate) and frontend technologies (JSF, HTML, CSS)
10. Development environments and tools: Eclipse or IntelliJ
11. Web services: e.g. SOAP, Postman
12. Java interface technologies for XML web services: JAX-WS, JAXB
13. Knowhow with the following tools is an advantage (not a must-have):
14. Java bean mapping: Mapstruct
15. Frameworks for unit tests: e.g. Mockito or PowerMock
Depending on the level of education and relevant professional experience, the collective agreement stipulates a gross annual salary starting at EUR 45,343.34. This salary refers to a full-time position of 38.5 hours per week; additional work will be compensated. In case of several years of professional experience, an overpayment is possible depending on the qualifications. In this position you can start immediately in full time.
