Your mission
As our (Senior) System Administrator at Prewave, you'll plan, administer and improve our IT framework, working with support to fix issues, and manage IT assets while contributing to information security.
Your main tasks will be:
* Infrastructure Management: Design, administer, and continuously improve our IT system and processes in a proactive manner.
* Operational Excellence: Collaborate with InfoSec and the business to implement effective license management, service design, service planning and capacity and availability management.
* Project Implementation: Oversee and test integration projects to ensure successful delivery and management by IT.
* Technical Expertise: Provide recommendations for technological improvements and resolve complex issues.
* Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for all projects and systems.
* Collaboration: Communicate effectively and work well with cross-functional teams.
Your profile
Must-haves:
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
* Based in Vienna with a valid work permit.
* 5+ years in a similar role, preferably in a start-up or scale-up environment.
* Familiarity with general administration concepts (e.g. Domain Controllers)
* Advanced skills in Bash or PowerShell.
* Mobile Device Management (MDM): Familiarity with tools such as Intune and Mosyle.
* Industry Experience: Background in B2B SaaS companies and/or startups.
* Knowledge of networking concepts including routing, switching, and security.
