The Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (unibz) is a partner of the SUNRISE European University Alliance, funded by Erasmus+. SUNRISE unites nine small universities into a single collaborative network, fostering an environment of mutual support where best practices in teaching, research, and third mission will be shared. All partner institutions are located in non-metropolitan areas, facing similar challenges for future development.
To ensure the successful implementation of the project at unibz, a dedicated SUNRISE office will be established. This office will work in close collaboration with faculty and various administrative departments, including International Relations, Study and Tuition, Career Service and Quality and Strategy Development, all of which are involved in SUNRISE. Additionally, the office will maintain continuous communication with other SUNRISE partners.

Job Description
For the operative coordination of the SUNRISE team and project, we are seeking a project manager. Key responsibilities of the SUNRISE project manager will include:
* Supporting the academic project manager in the implementation of the decisions taken by the SUNRISE Steering Committee as well as in all administrative and organizational agendas.
* Operational coordination of the SUNRISE team.
* Operational coordination, documentation, and monitoring of the implementation of project tasks at unibz and ensuring compliance with the project objectives in constant feedback with the academic project manager.
* Management of project milestones, schedules, and budget plans.
* Preparation of communications, reports, documentation, and presentations.
* Preparation of and participation in consortium meetings at home and abroad, workshops, etc.
* Close networking and coordination with all project participants at unibz.
* Interface function between the university and partner universities and other stakeholders.
* Accounting with EU in collaboration with the responsible offices of unibz.
Admission Requirements
* Master’s degree or four-year degree in accordance with the old system or equivalent foreign qualification.
* At least one year of professional experience with organizational, coordination, or secretarial tasks and/or at least one year of experience in project work.
Preferred titles
* Knowledge of the second national language (Italian or German).
* Work experience in the management of European projects.
Specific knowledge and skills
* Experience in coordinating other people.
* Strong networking skills.
* Strong organizational skills and solution orientation.
* Goal-oriented, autonomous, and structured approach to work.
* A passion for presenting in front of an audience.
* Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team.
* Very good knowledge of English at C1-level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
* Good knowledge of the Italian and/or German language at B2-level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
* Good knowledge of the Microsoft O365-Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
