Job description
As our Senior Manager Funding you will play a pivotal role in advancing our cutting-edge technologies. You will be at the forefront of driving innovation by acquiring cooperative funding projects on both national and European level.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the change: Take the helm in preparing compelling R&D funding proposals and lead our quest for financial support to turn visionary ideas into reality.
* Strategic collaboration: Coordinate and guide projects on strategic topics internationally, ensuring that our innovation roadmap aligns with the broader industry landscape.
* Pioneering planning: Chart the course for strategic funding planning within PSS fostering collaboration that will lead to groundbreaking discoveries.
* Global showcasing: Showcase our funding projects on international stages by presenting them at conferences and other events, solidifying our position as a global innovation leader.
* Financially astute: Exercise meticulous control over ongoing funding projects in collaboration with our Finance team, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and effectively.
Profile
We're seeking an exceptional individual who can bring innovation to life. If you possess the following qualifications and abilities, you could be our ideal candidate:
* At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a comparable field.
* Completed technical studies at least at the master's level, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
* Capability of identifying current scientific trends in industrial research.
* In-depth knowledge of the European funding mechanisms and the European cooperation network and experience in preparation and coordination of funding projects.
* Proven leadership skills for effectively managing cross-company research projects.
* Team-oriented working style and motivation for joining our high-performance PSS funding team.
* Fluent in both spoken and written English and German.
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group I (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2024.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
