Yarn Marketplace, Australia’s largest First Nations-supporting business, is looking for a Senior Digital Art Director to set the creative direction of our campaigns and lead our growing design team.

The Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Digital Art Director to lead the creative direction across all our digital platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for setting the overarching creative vision, ensuring brand consistency, and producing engaging content/assets for social media, paid ads, email marketing, and our website. Your focus will be on creating campaigns that resonate with our predominantly female audience, aligning with fashion trends and delivering the best online shopping experience.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
1. Develop and oversee the seasonal campaign design direction across all brand touchpoints.
2. Lead and mentor the design team to ensure high-quality creative output.
3. Design digital assets for use on the website, social media, EDMs, paid ads, and marketing campaigns.
4. Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize user experience and engagement.
5. Design homepages, landing pages, and onsite collateral in line with the digital calendar.
6. Analyze customer responses, website data, and social media metrics to adjust content strategies accordingly.
7. Stay ahead of eCommerce fashion trends to ensure our campaigns remain relevant and engaging.
Our Ideal Candidate:
1. 5+ years of demonstrated design experience, preferably in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.
2. Experience in the fashion, lifestyle, or retail sectors, with a strong understanding of female-focused marketing.
3. Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
4. Exceptional skills in design, typography, composition, and layout.
5. Experience with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo or similar) and Google Analytics.
6. Proven ability to plan and execute marketing campaigns, creating assets for websites, social media, and digital advertising.
7. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a tight-knit team.
Bonus: Experience in UX/UI design, coding, and troubleshooting with HTML/CSS.
