As our presence grows, we’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and results-driven Event Sales Executive to join our QLD sales team.
About the Role
As an Event Sales Executive, you’ll be at the heart of driving sales across our Brisbane venues. From nurturing inbound inquiries to identifying new business opportunities, you’ll play a key role in bringing our client’s visions to life—while hitting revenue targets and growing our reputation for excellence.
You'll manage the full sales cycle, from initial inquiry to event handover, while building lasting relationships and representing our venues at industry events and functions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Proactively generate and convert sales leads across weddings, corporate events, and private functions.
2. Respond to all incoming inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm, securing bookings with a high conversion rate.
3. Conduct engaging venue tours, highlighting the unique appeal of Waters Edge, Riverlife, and Queensland Museum.
4. Manage client relationships from start to finish, working closely with Event Managers to ensure a seamless experience.
5. Represent our venues at trade shows, expos, and networking events to build awareness and generate new leads.
6. Stay up to date on market trends, competitors, and customer needs to keep our offerings competitive.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure every event is executed to perfection, on time and on budget.
About You
1. You have a strong sales background with a proven ability to drive results through lead generation, face-to-face selling, and relationship management.
2. At least 1 - 2 years' experience in event sales, coordination, or planning within premium hospitality, venues, or hotels.
3. Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset—you’re a natural relationship builder.
4. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple events and clients with ease and attention to detail.
5. A passion for delivering exceptional events and the confidence to negotiate and close deals.
6. You bring a can-do attitude, professionalism, and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
