The sales organization consists of a team of Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Sales Consultants, and Marketing Specialists. Within a multi-functional and often multi-cultural team, future-proof solutions are designed and offered to our customers. Sold projects are handed over to the project execution team, which ensures that the projects are successfully completed and handed over to both the customer and the service organization.
Position Overview
In this role at AM Logistic Solutions, home-based in Offenau, you will design customized logistic system solutions together with the customer and an account manager. Your work in a commercial technical team (CTT) consists of analyzing, making layouts, simulations, preparing calculations, presentations, and quotations. You will play a central role in the CTT in the entire sales process, from request to contracting.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Assessing starting points and translating them into a concept for the logistics system solution, especially focused on AutoStore and AMR.
* Drafting system descriptions of, among other things, stacker cranes, transport technology, Autostore, storage racks, and control.
* Independent development of offers and calculations.
* Requesting quotes from suppliers.
* Taking care of the sales planning.
* Visiting (potential) customers in Teams and occasionally in person.
* Working closely with account managers and consultants and discussing internal and external options.
* Making concept drawings in ACAD.
* Revision and document management.
* Working with and building Dynamic Blocks.
* Accurately managing the risk factors and escalating them in a timely manner, ensuring that the set goals are achieved.
Personal Qualities and Competences
* Bachelor's degree in working and thinking level, preferably with a commercial/technical or logistics background and experience in the logistics branch.
* Knowledge of transport and storage systems is a plus.
* Able to balance the organization and the interests of the customer.
* Flexibility, proactivity, and the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a matrix organization.
* Assuming German is your native language, professional command of the English language in word and writing.
