Project Manager (IT EDRMS and Procurement focus)
This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading.
A key and newly established government agency is looking to bring on an IT Project Manager with experience in Electronic Record Management System (EDRMS) projects.
Our client is seeking 1 x Project Manager for an initial duration of 6 months (February - July) to help deliver on electronic records management systems transition activities.
* Anticipated duration initially 6 months with the possibility of extensions as the EDRMS project will continue through the next calendar year.
* 5 hours per day and 37.5 hours per week.
* Adelaide-based candidates only. This role requires the candidate to be in the office 5 days a week.
* $90 to $120 per hour base plus 11% superannuation on an hourly rate contract, 37.5 hours (15% casual loading included). The rate of pay is aligned with skills, experience, and expertise in project management and EDRMS relevant project experience.
* State Government Agencies Award 2020 industry award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime, allowances, and superannuation.
* National police check required.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate a staggered rollout and adoption of Objective Nexus EDRMS to discrete, diverse business units, including schedule/scope/risk/team/vendor management and status reporting to senior stakeholders.
* Coordinate consolidation and operationalisation of new/changed associated information workflow solutions in conjunction with the EDRMS rollout.
* Facilitate market approach and evaluation to recompete Managed Platform Services - Hyperscale Cloud Services contract, including composing acquisition plans, release-to-market documentation, and purchase recommendation documents, and coordinating evaluation activities including vendor briefs/debriefs.
* Facilitate market approach and evaluation to recompete Network Hardware and Services Marketplace contract, including composing acquisition plans, release-to-market documentation, and purchase recommendation documents, and coordinating evaluation activities including vendor briefs/debriefs.
* Coach/assist internal technical resources in the planning/work breakdown structure/scheduling components to facilitate Windows 11 rollout to all supported end users.
* Coach/assist internal technical resources in the planning and execution tracking for a transition of existing mobile phone services to a new carrier.
Key Capabilities/Attributes:
* Must be able to manage these initiatives in parallel (approx. 50% split on EDRMS/Workflows; remainder split between others).
* Highly proactive and capable of thriving with limited direction in circumstances of ambiguity and broadly competing demands on own and stakeholders' time/capacity.
* Great communication and collaboration skills.
* Must be able to personally author procurement documentation with a high degree of quality and precision, including sourcing and consolidating the technical input required to provide clarity to market respondents.
What Success Will Look Like:
Success will be measured by successive end user cohorts being provided genuine EDRMS technological capability, ensuring compliance without disproportionate administrative burden, and functional mechanisms to manage and retrieve information effectively. Additionally, success involves observing and operationalising a net increase in actual compliant behaviours/processes that are meaningful to the overall risk profile for this domain.
Specific to the PM role's procurement activities, success includes the efficient release of detailed, high-quality documents to the market that elicit competitive and comprehensive responses that can be robustly evaluated. Post-award, success includes well-planned and executed transition arrangements with incumbents, as relevant.
