Job Introduction: Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide, more than 500 customers in some 150 countries with more than 45,000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience. We develop and support customized solutions in the Defense sector, with a focus on Military Air Traffic Control and Flight Surveillance. As a Domain Sales Manager (all genders), you can expect diverse tasks, a high degree of freedom, and substantial customer interaction. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with various cultures through different travel experiences.
Key Tasks
1. Develop and create strategies for pursuing sales opportunities in collaboration with Sales Management and the Opportunity Team.
2. Create sales funnels in close cooperation with Regional Sales.
3. Support customer interactions through consultative solution selling. This includes positioning and value propositioning, such as creating and using case studies and success stories.
4. Capturing and closing deals as Pursuit Responsible, with support by bid managers, Product Managers, and Engineering.
5. Maintaining an up-to-date status reporting in our CRM and reporting to relevant internal stakeholders.
6. Strengthen both the Regional Sales team and local Sales Partners through knowledge transfer to enhance competitiveness.
7. Enhance the product portfolio by transferring market feedback to internal solution and product management.
Key Qualifications
1. Degree or equivalent, preferably in Telecommunication, IT, Engineering, Business Management, or Marketing & Sales.
2. Interest in different cultures and willingness to travel up to 30%.
3. A hands-on mentality and team player characterize you.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English), ability to deliver persuasive presentations and proposals.
5. Passionate about orchestrating complex operational, technical, and commercial challenges to successfully close deals.
6. Consultative selling combined with strong customer interaction defines your passion.
7. Professional operational experience in a defense environment is advantageous.
8. Minimum of 3 years experience of complex technical product sales and regulated public procurement rules in aviation, defense, or public infrastructure.
