The FS (Finance Services) Banking Department is responsible for preparing the financial statements of RBI AG according to local GAAP (UGB/BWG) and IFRS (stand-alone). We focus on solving complex financial accounting and reporting issues, analyzing financial results, as well as managing and ensuring a proper monthly Fast Close. The team also manages a wide range of projects simultaneously arising from business and/or regulatory changes and strategic initiatives.

Your mission at RBI:
* Oversee Financial Accounting and prepare financial statements according to UGB/BWG and IFRS for RBI AG
* Perform IFRS-related Financial Reporting, compile notes, and prepare risk reports
* Analyse monthly P&L/Balance Sheet results, perform deviation analysis, prepare comments for the management reports, and handle ad-hoc requests
* Analyse and implement new Financial Accounting & Reporting requirements
* Act as a Sparring Partner to the business units regarding Financial Accounting & Reporting for special business transactions
* Contribute as a Special Matter Expert in projects, e.g. Design Innovations and Improvements of product-related Financial Accounting & Reporting processes, and implement changes in Accounting Principles or RBI Group methodologies
* Collaborate closely with auditors and participate in regulatory audits
Your core competences:
* University Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or a related field
* Several years of experience in Financial Accounting & Reporting, preferably in banking or consulting business
* Thorough understanding of local GAAP (UGB/BWG) and IFRS standards, with knowledge of complex banking products, their lifecycles and associated accounting events
* Accurate, reliable, and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work independently and execute tasks effectively
* Results-driven team-player with strong communication skills, proactive and forward-thinking
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a commitment to continuous learning and growth
* Analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and MS Office; experience with Power-BI and data models is a plus
* Excellent proficiency in German (C2) and English (min. C1)
