About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Production Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Operations Director, ANZ, you will take ownership of leading our production operations, ensuring our products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
In this pivotal role, you will drive continuous improvement, foster a culture of collaboration, and develop your team to meet the evolving needs of our business. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage all aspects of the Newly Weds Foods Perth production site, ensuring smooth operations and consistent output.
* Plan and manage production schedules and staffing across three shifts to meet on-time, in-full delivery targets.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Maintenance, and R&D, to align on production objectives and achieve operational goals.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on optimising efficiency, minimising waste, and enhancing workforce productivity.
* Ensure full compliance with WHS, food safety, and quality standards, while implementing strategies to boost overall plant performance.
About You
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
* 3–5 years of experience in a production management role within food manufacturing or FMCG.
* A strong understanding of GMP principles and Lean Manufacturing practices.
* Proven leadership skills, with experience driving cultural change and developing high-performing teams.
* Demonstrated success in leading continuous improvement initiatives and achieving production targets.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
* A proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented approach to work.
