Your Responsibilities:
* Supports and updates the Domain & Development Processes (Design Practices, Guidelines & Standards), Verification and Validation (DVP&R) for the field validation domain across the systems and products.
* Assures the domain technology and development practices are state-of-the-art, compliant with relevant international standards and adequately benchmarked against competitors' systems.
* Maintains the field validation process to be accurate and reflective of business needs, ensuring rollout, adherence, and engagement business-wide.
* Prepare written validation reports, coordinate input, and present validation results and validation progress within reviews.
* Determine time schedules, resources, and the associated costs, searching for cost-competitive solutions.
* Close collaboration with the Engine Development team to define a realistic, executable, and value-added validation plan.
* Ensure configuration to validate is per specification and according to field validation plan, defining focused, accurate, and customer-centric documentation while supporting input to field validation contracts.
* Planning, tracking, and monitoring of ongoing field validations via remote monitoring and at customer sites worldwide.
* Planning and execution of dedicated engine investigations in the field at customer sites.
* Lead and execute multiple validation plans (including onsite work in person) utilizing the system hierarchy, requirements engineering, system owner input, and DFMEA.
Your Profile:
* Good knowledge in reciprocating engines technology and their systems.
* Knowledge of software integration and validation, engine calibration, and parameter management.
* Comfortable with technical presentations.
* Analytical mindset coupled with result-driven, proactive working style.
* Working knowledge of tools (DFMEA; DVP&R).
* Working knowledge of methods and development models (V-model, agile methods like Scrum).
* Several years of experience in engine/component test and validation techniques.
* Team player, comfortable in an international environment with good oral and written communication skills preferably in both German and English (at least one language fluent).
* Willingness to travel (40-50% within Europe), with potential for worldwide travel.
* Legal work authorization to work in Austria is required (Non-EU citizens: please attach the authorization form to your application).
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.269,07 gross per month (x 14) and an overpayment depending on your qualifications and experience.
