The Role
We are seeking a full-time Network & UC Team Lead to oversee a dedicated strategic client in Fortitude Valley. The successful candidate will be focused on delivering the highest level of service quality to the client while managing two close-knit technology stacks and their associated teams. They will have to be experienced in leading a small team of technical specialists, providing an escalation point for staff issues, ensuring the Team is achieving their KPI’s and being able to provide technical advice. As the leader of a group of highly technical engineers, the role also requires a high degree of technical skill specifically in Networking and Unified Communications. Knowledge across a broad range of areas in IT infrastructure and experience with Enterprise grade environments and toolsets would be highly advantageous.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Overseeing and supporting the delivery of Networking and UC services for a key client
* Team Operational Management (Including Leave, Roster, On-Call, Queue Management as required)
* Client SLA Management & Contract Adherence
* Staff Management (Including 1:1’s, Personal Development Plans and Team Meetings)
* Team Capacity Management & Workload Balancing
* Maximising Staff Engagement Levels and Client Satisfaction
* Identifying Efficiencies & Addressing through Process & Automation
* Continual Improvement - Maturing of Services
* Development of ITIL Aligned Operational Processes
* Supporting Networking & UC projects as they transition into BAU support
* Provide advice, suggestions, and testing for the client’s UC Technology Roadmap
What skills you will bring to the team:
* Minimum of 1 year in a leadership role and able to demonstrable experience in technical team management
* Minimum of 5 years' work experience in a senior technical role
* Comprehensive experience in core enterprise applications, SD-WAN, switching & routing.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* ITIL certification and/or experience
* A “Do what it takes” attitude
* Proven ability to work within and across teams
