We currently have an amazing opportunity for a NDIS Plan Management – Team Lead on a full-time basis working out of our Woolloongabba Head Office.
What will I be doing?
The purpose of the NDIS Plan Management – Team Lead role is to lead the Plan Management team in providing individuals participating in the NDIS with expert financial and administrative support to maximise the value of their plans. This role ensures participants have access to flexible, efficient, and transparent plan management services, empowering them to exercise choice and control over their funding and support services.
* Understand the NDIS Price Guide, to accurately interpret supports funded under an NDIS plan against correct NDIS codes.
* Lodge claims and process queries on the NDIS Portal, PRODA, on behalf of your clients and liaise with stakeholders working in the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
* Monitor client budget categories and take necessary actions to alert clients and any necessary third party, as required.
* Quarantine suppliers funding when required.
* Ensure all NDIS Plan Management claims and payments are made, in accordance with Plan Management service agreements.
* Create and maintain policies and procedures.
* Review processes and system for continuous improvements.
* Generate regular supplier payment runs, uploading batches to the online banking system.
Team Lead Responsibilities
* Provide support and development to the Plan Management Team and provide training to grow their skills and knowledge.
* Monitor and ensure that all NDIS Plan Management business practices meet relevant standards, legislative requirements, and contemporary Plan Management practices.
We are looking for:
* 3+ years of previous experience working with NDIS Plan Management.
* Proven experience in the coordination of all aspects of the NDIS Plan Management process.
* Proven ability to lead, coach and support staff to achieve results.
* An effective communicator with a keen eye for detail to deliver high quality outcomes for all stakeholders.
* An adept relationship-builder with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Someone who has a high level of time management skills, with the ability to work under the pressure of deadlines.
* You will be required to obtain a NDIS Workers Screen and Blue card.
