Governance, Regulations, Risk & Compliance for Powder Solutions Division
Powder Solutions follows the Sandvik Way, a set of policies and procedures that apply to all sites and functions. Your role is to support and promote awareness of compliance with regulations for Powder Solutions Division.
About Our Division
The Powder Solutions division is a world-leading provider of tungsten powders and metal powder for manufacturing technologies such as Metal Injection Molding and 3D printing. We serve a wide customer base across various industries, including automotive, aerospace, energy, infrastructure, electronics, tooling, and mining.
Your Mission and Responsibilities:
* You will ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies as the Head of Divisional Governance & Regulations.
* You will monitor the implementation of Sandvik and Powder Solutions standards according to the Compliance House for all Divisional Sites.
* You will coordinate and be responsible for Enterprise Risk management for Powder Solutions.
* You will act as Data Protection Coordinator, ensuring compliance with data protection laws and providing guidance on adherence to data protection regulations.
* You will maintain the legal database and administer approval notices, monitoring the implementation of official requirements and legal prescriptions for Wolfram Austria.
* You will be responsible for public authority engineering within Austria.
* You will lead the Governance & Regulations team by developing people, department, and processes.
* You will collaborate with international organizations to influence future developments in responsible raw material sourcing.
* You will coordinate with SMS compliance and internal departments to ensure compliance policies are implemented across the organization.
Your Background and Profile
We are seeking an individual with in-depth knowledge and experience in managing compliance requirements.
* You should have a bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field, with comprehensive knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the compliance domain.
* You should work proactively and systematically with an analytical mindset and ability to assess complex compliance risks.
* You should be fluent in English (written and spoken) and German.
* You should have first experience in leading a team and a passion for developing and empowering people.

This role is preferably based at our headquarters at Wolfram in St. Martin / Austria, with other European locations possible. As this is a global role, international travel is included. The annual gross salary for this position starts from EUR 85,000.
