As our Financial Controller, you will be responsible for driving the delivery and execution of finance planning, actuals, closing, and reporting activities for the assigned reporting units. You'll act as a key service receiver for finance actuals and closing services, provided by our Financial Shared Services team. Your key responsibilities
In this role you
1. are responsible for balance sheet management and reconciliation for the allocated entities
2. are the point of contact for the Finance Business Partner
3. are direct contact to budget holders to support budgeting and forecasting process
4. have the analytical skills and ability to translate financial data into relevant insights (descriptive, diagnostic and predictive information) for financial planning, actuals and reporting activities, by making use of the latest digital tooling
5. prepare planning figures (e.g. based on Top Down Guidance)
6. are the contact person for internal and external audits including statutory financial audits and secure data accuracy according to IFRS and local GAAP
7. ensure that agreed services with FSS (Financial Shared Services) are delivered up to standard
8. support Management Reporting BG/BU, Monthly Reporting Deck Forecast/Actuals and Cashflow + ROCE (ROE / DEBT / EQUITY)
9. are responsible for (and analyses on) product costing, variance analyses manufacturing performance, Inventories, CAPEX and first line analyses and insights for actuals, forecast and budget and for setting up relevant allocation cycles in SAP
10. provide all content for Journal Entries (recurring and incidental) to the shared service center (accruals, provisions, corrections, fixed asset registration and depreciation)
11. provide evidence for the Internal Control Framework and follow up on remediation plans

You bring
17. Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Accounting/Financial Controlling, and/or licensed certified public accountant;
18. In-depth understanding of Finance and Accounting processes
19. Austrian local GAAP and IFRS knowledge
20. Fluent in German and English
21. SAP FI/CO experience is a plus
22. Passionate for finance with 4 years or more of work experience and eager to learn and grow
23. An ambitious and talented team player, who drives the change within the organization
24. A self-starter with excellent inter-personal skills and strong ability of stakeholder management
