The unit Audit Risk Models is responsible for performing audits in Erste Group Bank AG, its subsidiaries, and Austrian legal entities part of the Erste Group with a major focus on auditing credit, market, liquidity, and operational risk models and methodologies, related processes, as well as the adherence to specific laws and regulations. A second responsibility is the coordination of audit activities within Erste Group for the audit area of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
* Perform reviews and assessments of the bank's credit risk models and methodologies (e.g. PD, LGD, and CCF, internal and regulatory) and their validation as part of the Group Audit team in Austria as well as in cooperation with colleagues in our subsidiaries.
* Perform reviews and assessments of the bank’s market & liquidity risk methodologies and metrics (e.g. FRTB, IRRBB, CSRBB, FXRBB, LCR, NFSR) and their validation.
* Accompany the regulatory model examination and approval process and support our audit units in CEE countries concerning credit risk models audit topics.
* Develop or tailor audit programs based on common audit standards, carry out fieldwork, prepare audit reports, and draft and reconcile audit findings and recommendations.
Minimum Requirements:
* A university degree in Mathematics, Econometrics, or Statistics as well as experience in audit, credit risk area of minimum 3 years - ideally, you already have an audit relevant certification (such as CIA, CFA etc.) or are in the process of obtaining certification.
* Proficient knowledge in the area of data analytics/data mining, preferably supported by experience in SAS/Python/R programming.
* Knowledge of banking regulatory framework and specific knowledge of credit and market risk relevant regulations.
* Willingness to travel and participate in audits performed in CEE countries and you hold a driver’s license B.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German - other CEE languages are an asset.
In this part-time position (19.25 hours/week), you have the possibility to carry out the audits with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. We offer you the possibility for further education and to gain other audit related certifications.
The minimum wage for this position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 40.120,00 gross per year (on a full-time basis). But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
