Your responsibilities
As a Communication & Interior Design (ComIn) Manager Trainee, you will support the senior ComIn Manager in:
Contributing to the business plan, commercial strategy and commercial calendar process.
Contributing to the growth agenda through knowledge and insights about home furnishing, customer´s shopping behavior and latest trends.
Visualizing the uniqueness of the IKEA offer to distinguish us from the competition.
Securing the use of the store layout as a commercial tool to plan and implement commercial strategies.
Managing and coordinating people resources (Interior Designer, Visual Merchandiser & Graphics) and Budget.
Leading and developing teams, identifying talent, and ensuring succession planning.
About this work area
IKEA offers a unique 18-month trainee program designed to prepare you for the role of Communication & Interior Design Manager (ComIn). During this period, you will work in each of our Viennese units (IKEA Vienna North, IKEA Westbahnhof, IKEA Vösendorf) for six months. This rotational program provides comprehensive exposure to our business operations and strategic decision-making processes. You will receive training and mentoring from experienced managers, ensuring you gain the skills and knowledge needed for the role.

For this limited fulltime position, we offer you a monthly gross salary starting from (on fulltime base with an ALL-IN contractual agreement). We are willing to pay more depending on experience and qualification.
