Job Description
This role reports directly to the Division President of Machine Automation. As a key member of the RAMA Business Development & Strategy team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing winning strategies aligned with company targets. Your key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategy Development & Implementation: Collaborate with leadership to create, plan, and implement division-wide strategy definitions, analyzing markets, customer segments, competitor moves, offerings, and past business performance.
* Market Intelligence & Business Development: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes, using data to inform strategic decisions and identify potential growth areas.
* Mergers & Acquisitions: Work closely with business management to identify and prioritize potential acquisition targets that align with division strategy.
* Performance Monitoring & EC Presentations: Set and track KPIs to measure the success of business development initiatives.
* Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
* People & Leadership: Ensure the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or Marketing.
* No less than 10 years of relevant global work experience.
* A proven track record in business development and strategy, with experience in Merger & Acquisition projects.
* Strong project management skills.
* A basic understanding of control drives and automation markets, as well as knowledge of key technology trends (including software and AI).
* Excellent written and verbal communication & negotiation skills in English, with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on your level of experience.
