Who we are?
Siemens Digital Industries Software (DISW) Legal Entity Finance is responsible for the controlling as well as providing an implemented governance framework to ensure adequate operations across all businesses. Our mission is to ensure controlling and reporting of the legal entities in Austria & Switzerland and the coordination of the closing activities with all customers to provide correctness of legal entity books and records in line with local statutory requirements as well as with FRG. Under our Governance responsibility, we guide the organization to provide strong stewardship with respect to compliance, local guidelines and harmonized procedures and to ensure smooth business integrations.
As a partner to DISW AT & CH executive management, we apply our expertise in a wide range of topics in order to build an impact that drives change with improved financial results in a cross-border organization.
Role & Responsibility:
1. Consolidation and review of monthly financial figures between different reporting systems (2 SAP systems, ESPRIT, Hyperion Planning etc) as well as analysis of monthly results
2. Support monthly creation and update of management reporting package for legal entities incl. commentaries
3. Coordination and consolidation of Forecast and Budgeting process incl. cash and balance sheet planning
4. Supporting the monthly closing coordination for all entities within Switzerland and Austria and ensuring correctness and completeness of provisions and accruals in results, coordination of balance sheet reconciliations with the team and Hub Accounting team
5. Supporting the year end closing process as well as statutory audits
6. Responsible for transfer pricing related documentation and implementation of relevant guidelines as well as transfer pricing documentation for audits for all DISW legal entities in Austria and Switzerland
7. Ensuring the alignment of all financial activities with the internal control system, contact for internal and external audits
8. Driver of new initiatives such as reporting automation, digitalisation and constant change within the Legal Entity Operations team and beyond
What do you need to realize what matters:
9. 5 years professional experience in Accounting/Controlling
10. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
11. High affinity to work with tools and applications (SAP, Tableau, PowerBI, Hyperion Planning, Excel, ppt) and continuous process improvements
12. Critical thinker with analytical skills and excellent attention to quality and detail
13. Open minded teammate acting as role model
14. Strong understanding of financial concepts, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
15. Proven background in controlling, reporting and planning
16. Excellent communicational and interpersonal skills, ability to get along with various organizational levels and drive new initiatives
17. Fluency in English and German language

For legal reasons, we would like to point out that the salary for this position is EUR 3,828 gross/month with appropriate qualifications. Willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications is given!
