Job Description
Join Salomon as the Marketing Specialist Snowboard EMEA. This dynamic role places you at the heart of Salomon’s snowboard marketing efforts, where you will connect with key influencers, execute impactful events, and amplify the brand’s visibility across the EMEA region. Your mission is to foster a deep connection with the snowboarding community, strengthen Salomon’s presence, and drive meaningful consumer and trade activations.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Representation and Community Engagement
1. Act as the face of Salomon Snowboard Marketing, building relationships with influencers, partners, federations, and sports authorities.
2. Plan and execute key events, demos, and promotional activities.
3. Maintain strong connections with local stakeholders to ensure successful campaign implementation.
4. Develop and manage media relationships, overseeing media plans, PR efforts, and product placements.
Sport Epicenter Activation
1. Lead resort-focused activations, including consumer-facing and trade events, community activities, and demos.
2. Support local marketing teams with strategies to maximize visibility and impact in key resorts.
3. Secure sponsorships to elevate community events and programs.
Trade Marketing
1. Develop and execute the snowboard specialty trade marketing program, covering seasonal campaigns, digital/social initiatives, and on-field activations.
2. Organize trade events such as sell-in meetings, product launches, and dealer activations.
Snowboard Marketing Interface
1. Provide feedback to HQ as part of the I2C process and ensure the quality of marketing tools delivered by HQ.
2. Analyze influencer marketing KPIs to measure impact and adapt strategies.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Education: Degree in Marketing or a related field preferred.
2. Experience: 5+ years in the sports marketing community (ideally snowboard), with a strong background in consumer engagement and event management.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
4. Languages: Full proficiency in English and German language.
5. Sports Expertise: Passionate snowboarder with strong ties to the snowboarding community.
