Tasks
• Providing resource and time estimates for intralogistics software solutions of our existing customers
• Elaboration of optimization potentials of existing software solutions of our customers
• Creating software designs and coding software solutions
• Source code reviews and developer tests
• Software documentation and creating test reports
• Fix software errors
• Holding workshops (customers, suppliers, etc.)
• Implementation of software change requests
• Assisting live operation remotely and/or on-site at our international customers' premises
• Implementation of project preparations
• Ongoing, independent development within the team
• Training and coaching of new colleagues
Requirements
• Educational background with specialization in the field of IT or technology advantageous
• Experience in software development and object-oriented programming (Java advantageous)
• Understanding of relational databases (MS, SQL, Oracle, etc.)
• Practical knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems advantageous
• Knowledge of network technology
• Experience with common development environments and with GIT and Gerrit advantageous
• Good command of English
• Ability to work independently, team player, and sense of responsibility
• Willingness to travel abroad (approx. 15% of annual working hours)

The minimum salary for this position according to the Collective Agreement is € 3,724.-- for 38.5 hours/week. However, we offer a competitive salary depending on relevant professional experience and qualifications.
